Most law graduates in Kidwaipuri know the name Bihar Judiciary. Very few know what actually separates a selected candidate from one who prepares for years and never gets there. It is rarely the knowledge. It is almost always the preparation — how it was structured, how answers were evaluated, and whether anyone was honest enough to say what was actually falling short.
A Civil Judge appointment in Bihar is not merely a career. It is a position of constitutional authority — one that demands from its aspirants not just knowledge of law, but the capacity to reason through it, articulate it, and apply it under examination pressure. That preparation does not happen by accident.
Judex Tutorials located at Boring Road, Dadijee Ln, Anandpuri, Patna, and students from Kidwaipuri form part of our regular cohort. What we offer is not a general law course repurposed for judiciary aspirants. It is a programme designed around the specific demands of Bihar Civil Judge (Junior Division) examination — from the structure of the Preliminary paper to the evaluative framework applied in the Mains, through to the conduct of the viva voce.
Students may attend our centre in person or enroll through our online platform. Both routes lead to the same faculty, the same test series, and the same standard of evaluation.
The common failure point is not inadequate reading. Most candidates who fall short at Mains have covered the syllabus. What they have not developed is the capacity to organise legal arguments within the constraints of an answer paper — to identify the applicable provision, apply it to a given fact situation, support it with relevant case law, and present it within the time available.
This is not a skill that develops through passive revision. It develops through structured writing, consistent evaluation, and faculty who understand the standard to which Patna High Court examiners hold candidates.
The Preliminary paper tests knowledge of the Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, Code of Civil Procedure, Indian Evidence Act, Transfer of Property Act, Limitation Act, and Bihar-specific legislation, alongside a General Studies component. Our preparation addresses not only the content of these enactments but the way in which BPSC frames questions — which provisions recur, which distinctions are tested repeatedly, and where candidates tend to lose marks through imprecision.
This is the component that most separates our programme from general coaching. Candidates write answers under timed conditions. Each submission is reviewed by faculty. Feedback is written, specific, and returned to the candidate — noting structural issues, missing legal authority, misapplication of provisions, and language that would not hold up before an examiner.
The objective is not to tell a candidate what a good answer looks like. The objective is to show them, specifically and repeatedly, where their answer falls short of that standard and why.
Topic-wise tests run throughout the programme. Full-length mock examinations replicate examination conditions in terms of paper pattern, time allocation, and difficulty. Performance analysis is provided after each test — subject-wise, section-wise, and in comparison with the cohort. Candidates who treat the test series as an integral part of their preparation, rather than supplementary to it, consistently perform better at the actual examination.
The General Studies component of Bihar Judiciary is underestimated by a significant proportion of candidates. It covers constitutional and political affairs, recent legislative developments, and contemporary issues of legal significance. Our current affairs module is updated regularly and integrates recent judgments of the Supreme Court and Patna High Court where they have bearing on the examination.
The interview stage of Bihar Judiciary is not an informal conversation. It is conducted by serving members of the Patna High Court bench and evaluates legal acuity, articulation, awareness of current legal developments, and judicial temperament. Our viva voce programme includes mock sessions, current legal affairs discussions, and guidance on the manner and substance of responses appropriate to the format.
Students from Kidwaipuri have two routes to our programme.
Our centre is located at Dadijee Lane, Anandpuri, Patna. Students from Kidwaipuri who prefer classroom attendance are welcome to enrol and attend sessions directly. Doubt resolution, faculty access, and written evaluation are available in person.
Our digital platform is not an archive of recorded lectures. Classes are conducted live, on a fixed schedule. Candidates attend in real time, submit questions, and receive responses within the session. Recorded versions are available within the application for revision.
Answer writing submissions are accepted through the platform. Faculty evaluation and written feedback are returned through the same channel. The standard of evaluation does not vary between in-person and online participants.
The application is available on the Google Play Store under the name JUDEX.
Designed for candidates who are approaching Bihar Judiciary preparation for the first time, or those who require a thorough revision of foundational doctrines before moving to exam-focused work. Coverage includes the full Preliminary syllabus, with particular attention to the Code of Civil Procedure, Indian Evidence Act, and Transfer of Property Act — subjects where conceptual gaps are most frequently observed.
For candidates who have completed a prior round of preparation and are returning with a working knowledge of the syllabus. The focus shifts to examination technique, time management, and performance consistency. This batch is structured around intensive testing and answer writing rather than fresh instruction.
Available as a standalone enrolment. Recommended for candidates who are confident in their substantive knowledge but require structured development of their written expression. The programme runs on a weekly submission and evaluation cycle.
An independent test series for candidates conducting self-study who require a structured and reliable testing framework. Topic-wise and full-length papers are available. Performance analytics are provided after each paper.
We do not publish pass percentages. Any coaching institution that does should be asked how those figures are arrived at and verified.
What we will say is that candidates who have prepared with Judex Tutorials have successfully cleared Bihar Judiciary Prelims and Mains, and are currently serving as Civil Judges and Additional Public Prosecutors in Bihar. The preparation they received here was the same preparation available to every enrolled student — structured, demanding, and honest about what the examination actually requires.
If you have decided that Bihar Judiciary is the examination you are preparing for — the next step is finding a programme that holds your preparation to the standard the examination actually demands. That is what Judex Tutorials is built to do.
